Bought this for my 7 year old, & he absolutely loves it! Much sturdier than I thought it would be - the thing doesn't budge. Exactly what we needed for his small room with the table that converts to the bed. The table lowers then the cushions slide to make the bed. The only two drawbacks were that two pieces were mislabeled, so it took a few minutes to figure out why the bed was looking crooked. Once we realized that, we switched them & it was fine. Secondly, we had 4 screws that wouldn't tighten properly. We called & were sent a new hardware package, but when you have an excited child, it isn't fun telling them they have to wait another week for more screws to come. The wood is nice - you can tell it's a softer wood, so I'm sure it will get dings easier than most, bur for the price, you can't beat it. Overall, love this bed & would highly recommend it!
